Solve et Coagula @ Embodied Astrology

Archetypes can never be exhausted. And, it is up to us to call forth their “other faces” and invoke different expressions of these powerful collective energies which are life-sustaining and life-affirming.

Join me in this devotional series where we will explore together the feminine/femme face of the Saturn archetype and its many gifts.

Following 2023’s Gravity & Grace series, we journey deeper into Saturn’s Mystery School as it moves through the primordial depths of Pisces. In 2024, the full Saturn retrograde cycle will be our collective alembic as we conduct a “close read”– a living contemplation of the degrees that Saturn will traverse during the astrological year (March 2024 - March 2025).

Saturn in Pisces: Eulogy Work

October 28, 2023 11-1pm

Join me and the Embodied Astrology community as we come together to hold space for Saturn in Pisces as a representation for the ultimate universal experience of transformation — death.  Death is all around us. Long before our physical bodies die we experience deaths of all kinds and all different intensities. Some might say that the more we can learn to bear these everyday reminders of impermanence with skill, grace and compassion the more “prepared” we may be for our own inevitable ending. The transit of Saturn through Pisces invites us to acknowledge our responsibility to the world of matter even as we hold space for the unseen mysteries of what is to come and that which we can only approach through the medicine of yield, forgiveness, surrender and letting go.

There are also many other amazing workshops and supportive community spaces at EA so please follow your heart’s desire!

Note: This session wants to move slowly.

Helpful things you may wish to have on hand or give some consideration to:

  • 💫 Natal chart (you can get a chart at www.astro.com or www.astro-seek.com)

  • 🪁 Loose clothing

  • 🤲🏾 A private space (if possible)

  • 🖍️ Something to write with and something to write on

  • 🍫 Snacks and water

  • ⚓ Whatever other grounding🌿 and deepening🐚 objects you might find supportive 🧸

Embodied Astrology | Gravity & Grace: A Mythopoetic Inquiry into Saturn in Pisces

A quote often attributed to psychiatrist and Holocaust survivor Viktor Frankl states, “Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.”  The space where the power of our response resides is Saturn’s classroom and our life experiences here on Earth gift us more than enough stimuli.

In this 2nd of four workshops exploring Saturn’s journey through Pisces we will be introduced to Saturn as the “Ring-Pass-Not.” This mystical aspect of Saturn’s planetary expression wants us to BE HERE NOW. When we inevitably meet the proverbial troll under the bridge, we must have our wits about us to successfully navigate the crossing — which means, we must get present to what is real. The best vehicle for this kind of presence is attunement with deep sensate experience in the body. In this workshop we will explore Saturn's transit through Pisces as a portal that simultaneously expands our field of perception and binds us to that which is precious and necessary.

Saturn’s ingress into Pisces is one of the most notable astrological events of 2023. After the last 5 years of Saturn occupying signs of its strength and rulership (Capricorn and Aquarius), the Lord of Time, Gravity, and Karma will now move into Pisces’ liminal, empathic, expansive seas. Join me and the amazing Renee Sills, founder, creative director, and programming curator at Embodied Astrology, for a deep dive into the possibilities and potentials of this 3-year transit and its invitations to work practical magic through mythic and mystical realms.
